Embracing life with chronic pain and illnesses.

Happy Holidays!

It is amazing that the year has gone so fast! We are quickly approaching another Christmas and yet another New Year! I am so excited to enjoy the Holiday’s healthy! My first in so many years!

I truly hope and pray that my friends and loved ones will also be able to enjoy this season! My precious friends who have been struggling with health issues…..I pray that they would have reprieve…..that they would be able to enjoy the time with their loved ones. Our best distractions when we are enduring the battle!

May our Lord Bless you all this season! My heart goes out to those that continue to struggle! My own struggle, I pray, is at a stand still. I am feeling better….albeit I am struggling with some type of intestinal/stomach issue each month. I am hoping this is something simple…like just another change to diet….

My overall health is so much better I do not feel that I can even mention! I have TOO many friends that are dealing and struggling with such weight…such problems…….I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everyones health issues go away! It was such a huge battle to overcome my own…..I am still…so thankful to my doctors who worked so hard…and were willing to take extreme measures to bring me to where I am today.

I take none of this lightly. I am here because God wants me here…..it is His will that I still am. Therefore, I know that I have more to give….there is something yet, that I am to do.

For the moment…I can only, again, give thanks! Appreciate my husband….appreciate our son…..our precious gift…..and enjoy those around us. I can only give myself 100 percent…as a wife, mother, friend, co-worker, teacher…..however, I can be used.

Just know….YOU are so special! YOU are loved! Know that all the struggles that we go through in this life are worth it….we will persevere…..we will move ahead…..touching everyone around us. Never underestimate the impact that YOUR life has upon another. God in his wisdom, has linked us…..allowed us to touch each other’s lives.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
