I am so thankful for my constant companion! He does not let me out of his sight….the eyes that watch as I get my walker before heading down the hall. As if he knows, I must use it to prevent further falls.
My reminder to step out back and get some fresh air! He insists that we go outside at least twice a day. Even when not feeling well….I head out those few steps….the fresh air as he runs in the back yard always does me good!
The opportunity to sit at the top of the steps…soaking up sunshine….watching his crazy antics as he runs through the thawing snow….pausing to make sure that I am in his line of sight.
