Countdown On!
Pre-op appointment went very well. Doc reviewed all possible scenarios…..nice to just talk through all the possibilities….to know that there are options if residual pain is an issue. So looking forward to having the current pain/super tenderness/nausea behind me!
They will scope first…to see if any chance that the ovaries and tumor can be removed laproscopically…..then all will be sent immediately to pathology for freezing/slice and review. Don’t expect to get off easy….I anticipate that they will have to open me up again.
A 3 day hospital stay then 6 weeks of recovery at home. Glad that our boy will be out of school soon…..will be nice to have him around…..distractions when I need it!
Ready for this Chapter to close….then I can get on to the next!
